| OK.....me. My name is Ally and i live in the perpetually rainy UK...England if you want to know and....Wiltshire if you really care. I have just eaten a chocolate covered hob-nob (which is a real biscuit if anyone thinks i am being rude) which was yummy!! I was lucky enough to get married last year....he is yummy too.....and i am going to be celebrating my 24th birthday this June. I have no children, although i would like them one day (maybe when i grow up a bit) but i have 2 cats i adopted from a friend who moved to Crete. um, i work full-time at the moment, which leaves little time for other things....BUT....i get to work with people with brain injuries which is the most interesting/challenging/emotional work i have ever done. In my spare time i dabble with art, and drip my toe into writing. I have enjoyed Art since i was at school but i don't post most stuff here on DA, too lazy!! (also lack of scanner, a rubbish internet connection, and an insane habit of loosing things...!!) The old English romantic in me would love to be an artist/writer for the rest of my life but then i doubt there is anyone who would not want that....the realist in me suspects that i will end up becoming a teacher or continue in the work i am in now. My biggest dream is to emigrate to New Zealand before i am 30..... Personality wise....well i'm quite open and straight forward, i like having discussions with people and talking to people in general, my friends are one of the most important things in my life and i would do anything for any of them, i tend to become the mediator in stressful situations and can sometimes think a little too logically, oh and apparently i talk strangely...?? Also it might be good to say that i often think there are two people living in my head and they fight alot.....there are times when i am completely logical and everything has a reason and everything is nice and straight forward and at other random times i am the most emotional and high-maintenance person you have ever met!! I think that once those two people have joined then i will discover the secret of the universe...i live in hope! I like - Books, my computer *rubs lovingly*, the countryside, being in the sun, conversations of any kind, comedy and sarcasm, people who are what you see, My trampoline....i like a hell of alot of stuff actually! I hate - Egotistical people, people who get pleasure in the pain(any kind) of others, people who's beliefs change as often as their bedding, anyone who pronounces the 'H' in vehicle (i am sorry, i can't control it it just drives me insane!)....hmm lot of people here....Mint, Spiders, people who judge others without taking the time to get to know them....whoops there's another one!!...TV!!! um, well that is kinda it....i have managed to write an essay but if you have gotten to this point then you have done the hard part now.... ....well if you don't like me after reading all of that....well let's be honest it doesn't really matter....i'm just surprised you got this far!! (unless of course you skipped down and are reading this first....if that is the case you know all you need to know, don't worry about the rest!!) |
